Any document types that the nursery needs to keep a record of for both staff and children can be added here. The screen below shows examples of such documents that can be created. To search for a document type, enter full or partial detail in any of the blank fields.



To create a new document type, click the icon in the top right corner of the screen.




Please see an explanation of the different fields on this screen explained below.

  1. Enter the name of the document type
  2. Enter a brief description of the document type
  3. Enter a title name for the data that needs to be captured in this field, e.g. for a Driving licence this is where date issued can be captured or for a Birth Certificate it could be date of birth.
  4. Enter a title name for the data that needs to be captured in this field, e.g. for a Driving License the date of expiry.
  5. Enter a title name to explain what data needs to be captured in this field.
  6. Enter a title name for the notes column which can be used to add further notes.
  7. Select whether the document is ‘For Staff’ or ‘For child’ or both to indicate who the document can be added for.
